This blog is about a change in my eating. This is not a Diet, as usually thought of. This is a change in the type of food I eat to maximize blood chemical health. A definite side benefit is that I am loosing weight, but that is not the primary goal.
My Plan is:
1. Avoid food with animal fat
2. Avoid food containing cholesterol
3. Avoid any foods with refined flour
4. Eat plenty of vegetables daily
5. Eat fresh fruit daily
6. Avoid any foods with sugar added
7. Avoid dairy products
8. Avoid red meat (beef and pork)
9. Eat occasional fish and poultry
10. Include soy products daily
11. Include plenty of whole grain foods
12. Drink an occasional glass of red wine, but no liquor
13. Use olive oil if oil is needed for food preparation.
